Ginger 1/2 inch, pepper 3-4 , jaggery- 1/2 tsp, salt a pinch and tulsi 3-4 leaves. Make a paste of all these ingredients and chew it in small portions. 
This is very effective in treating your cold and cough too.

Arthritis :

It is a chronic disease process. In the early stages, the whole body is usually affected and one or two joints may become completely deformed. 
Naturopathy treatment starts with Fomentation and Acupressure to reduce the pain in your joints.
Our Diet Therapy consists of a couple of fresh raw vegetables in the form of a salad and at least two cooked vegetables.
Cabbage, carrot, celery, cucumber,lettuce,onion,radishes, tomatoes are used as raw salad. 
The cooked vegetables may include asparagus, beets, cauliflower, cabbage, carrots, celery, brinjal, onions, beans, spinach,tomatoes.
All these helps in building the calcium content in the bone and also helps repair the affected joints.

Despite mounting evidence to the contrary, mainstream nutritional guidelines have instructed individuals to eat soy and drink soy milk. BUT soy milk is not a healthy choice. By drinking soy milk you are not doing yourself a favor, you are destroying your health. Please, take a look at these reasons why you should avoid soy milk.

Soymilk Ingredients

    Soymilk (Filtered Water, Whole Soybeans), Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Carrageenan, Natural Flavor, Calcium Carbonate, Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin D2, Riboflavin (B2), Vitamin B12.

    Soybeans contain large quantities of natural toxins or “antinutrients”. Drinking just two glasses of soy milk daily can significantly alter a woman’s menstrual cycle.
    Soy has been found to increase the body’s need for vitamin B12 and vitamin D.
    Soybeans also contain haemagglutinin, a clot-promoting substance that causes your red blood cells to clump.
    99% of soy is genetically modified. It contains one of the highest contamination by pesticides of any of our foods.
    Soybeans and soy products contain high levels of phytic acid, which inhibits assimilation of calcium, magnesium, copper, iron, and zinc.
    Soy foods contain high levels of toxic aluminum, which negatively effects the nervous system the kidneys and has been linked to the onset of Alzheimer’s.
    Soy contains a compound resembling vitamin B12 that cannot be processed by your body. Thus, soy foods can contribute to B12 deficiency.
    Fragile soy proteins are exposed to high temperatures during processing in order to make soy protein isolate and textured vegetable protein, making them dangerous for human digestion.
    Soy contains toxic isoflavones.The soy isoflavones genistein and daidzein can stimulate existing breast cancer growth showing risk in consuming soy products if a woman has breast cancer. 
    Soy contains plant estrogens, called phytoestrogens, which disrupt endocrine function and lead to infertility and breast cancer in women.
    Carrageenan in Soy Milk
Many scientific, peer-reviewed studies found that food-grade carrageenan can cause gastrointestinal inflammation, ulcerations, lesions and even colon cancer in laboratory animals. Additionally, recent studies funded by the American Diabetes Association have linked the consumption of food-grade carrageenan to insulin resistance and glucose intolerance in mice.

CONSTIPATION

Constipation a condition in which there is difficulty in emptying the bowels, usually associated with hardened faeces.
This condition may be acute or chronic. Causes maybe stress,physical inactivity,low intake of fibre diet,pregnancy etc.

JUICES that help ease constipation are apple, grapes, pear, kiwi, prunes and carrots. Consuming warm liquids in the morning, having buttermilk with fenugreek seeds acts as a laxative.High fibre rich diet must be followed.
Intake of water should be increased, along with some warm up exercises should be followed.

LOW BACK ACHE :

The causes of backache maybe as stress,travelling,strained muscles,strained ligaments,lifting something improperly or too heavy,muscle spasm.It may be structural difficulties like ruptured and bulged discs,abnormal curvature of spine, arthritis, spondylitis,sciatica etc..

Simple remedies to reduce backache are :

1. Avoid forward bending completely.
2. Adopt the practice of yoga all backward postures like chakrasana,dhanurasana,naukasana,shalabhasana etc
3. Sleep on a hard mattress.
4. Drinking ginger tea ..As ginger is anti inflammatory and helps to reduce pain.
5. Heat some coconut oil, mustard oil or sesame oil on low heat and then add 8 to 10 cloves of garlic to it. Fry the garlic until it is brown. Strain the oil and let it cool to room temperature.
Massage your back gently with the oil. Leave it on for some time and then take a bath in warm water.

Simple Home Remedies For Cracked Heels

Some causes of cracked heels:

Dry skin, Physical activity, Overweight, Uncomfortable sandals, Other diseases, Overexposure to water, besides others.

Simple everyday home remedies for cracked heels:

1. Keep your feet clean and free from dirt as much as possible.
2. Foot Bath: Relax your feet by alternating between hot and cold water bath.
3. Keep your feet moisturized
4. Exfoliate your feet as much as possible after soaking it in some epsom salt. Then rub in some honey, before moisturizing it.
5. Avoid doing any physical activity barefoot. Walk bare foot over dew drops in the early morning grass.
6. Avoid spending long time in damp area barefoot. While doing household chores like washing clothes or mopping, make sure your feet are dry. One of the home remedies for cracked heels is to try and avoid the soapy water from coming in contact with your feet. 
7. After taking your bath apply Coconut oil around your heels.
8. Add a zinc and omega 3 fatty acid supplement to your diet.
9. Most importantly......keep yourself well hydrated.
