It has taken several months for the body to form and several years for it to be in the form it is in right now. It did not happen in one day. It took nine months to have all organs formed, and probably nineteen years to be in the current shape. It has taken several years for the intellect to mature, and for the emotions to culture. And it has taken 84 lifetimes for the mind to be formed. Mind has taken much longer. This very consciousness, this mind has passed through many bodies to be able to be in this body, as it is now. This consciousness is very old, ancient. The life in you is not new. When a baby is born, it is said that a new life has come to the house. A new life has not come. An old life has come in a new body! Life is very old, very ancient, and it's value goes up the older it becomes; like wine or whiskey. The older the wine,the more value it gains. But it is the reverse with the body.

You have an ancient mind. Just wake up and look into it. It has a whole lot of wealth in it, and a huge amount of experiences. It is a sum total of the whole creation - not just your experiences of one lifetime, or one dealing, or one happening, but all the happenings in the world. All the events and all the experiences are present in this mind, and it belongs to the mind. The restricted ability and the limited experiences are the bondages which bother you. When you see that all the experiences are there in the mind; they are all contained in the consciousness - pleasant/unpleasant, good/bad, right/wrong - these are all present in this mind; where's the fear, then? Where is any aversion? Where will there be any craving? You'll see, they all disappear like the bubbles when they come to the surface.

เคถ्เคฐเคฆ्เคงเคธ्เคต เคคाเคค เคถ्เคฐเคฆ्เคงเคธ्เคต เคจाเคค्เคฐ เคฎोเคนं เค•ुเคฐूเคท्เคต เคญोः । เคฎोเคนं - is the entanglement, is and the passion that holds you back, that restricts and limits your abilities, and that brings you only misery. เคจाเคค्เคฐ เคฎोเคนं เค•ुเคฐूเคท्เคต เคญोः । Moha is uprightness in you. When there is no shraddha, no trust, that what dawns is moha - feverishness. เคจाเคค्เคฐ เคฎोเคนं เค•ुเคฐूเคท्เคต เคญोः । Ashtavakra told Janaka that he had fallen prey to this again and again. That he should not again fall prey. He needs to trust and believe - believe in the world.

Yoga is the science of believing in the world. Believing in the world is purity. Purify the mind and purify the consciousness to their finest through body, breath, mind. Yoga does not mention about God or Divinity. It simply speaks about purification and the finer aspects of existence. It is a completely materialistic attitude. Yoga is the science of the material attitude. If you are a nonbeliever in Divinity, in God, maybe, at least you should believe in the world, in the purity of things and in the refinement of things. Refine yourself to the core.

That is yoga. Believe in yoga. Then, you will be complete. You have to believe in the world. You have to believe in the laws of nature. Otherwise, science cannot move one step ahead. Science believes in the assumption that the laws of nature remain the same. Or you believe in yourself. That is the path of knowledge; self-inquiry and awareness. "I am living, you are eating, walking, sleeping, drinking, chit-chatting, gossiping". "I am doing all this". "I am". Or you believe in Divinity; in God. When your hearts flow with devotion and love, something unknown. All that you know is relative. It is not permanent, it's temporary. And all you see is changing and perishing. But, the basis of this, although you do not know, you are feeling the presence. That is Divinity. That is the path of love and devotion where the presence plays the main role, the predominant role in life. Love plays the predominant role.

All the three meet at the same point. When the consciousness is refined, there is love, because that is your very nature. And there is awareness. That is he path of knowledge. And love. Yoga has come to the same point. With love, the same thing happens. Yoga happens naturally when your heart is so full, that wherever you look, you see only the presence, only the Divinity.
