เคจเคฎो เคฎเคน्เคฏं । These words เคจเคฎो and เคจเคฎः are very unique. When you read it the other way, it means เคฎเคจ । เคฎเคจः is mind. เคจเคฎः is the reversal of mind. When the mind dies, love dawns. Whenever there is love, the mind dies and this is painful. That is why love always brings pain with it. Something in you is dissolving - the ego, the mind - and this dissolving is painful. And so lovers often rebel. The mind does not want to dissolve. It wants to emphasize its existence. It wants to show that it is something, too! And it doesn't want to bear the pain of dissolution, the pain is unbearable. เคจเคฎः is surrender, and in surrender there is a pinch. You often find lovers fighting, and you really don't understand why lovers should fight when there is so much love. They still fight! These are the mechanics. The love is so strong and so powerful, the mind cannot hold it. It wants to hold. It cannot stay. It cannot exist. It dissolves and this brings pain; unbearable pain. So, in order to get rid of the pain, it rebels. And that rebellion is the fight. When you surrender to somebody, this is more evident. It is clearer. People love objects because objects is very safe! You buy a property, enjoy it and when you want to sell it to somebody tomorrow, it doesn't cry. It doesn't make you cry. It doesn't tell you not to do it. It never says that you are leaving it. You can easily dispose of it. You buy a scooter, a car, a bus. You can sell it after some days. Objects have totally surrendered to you. They don't question you or pose any resistance to you. People feel very safe owning things. They are happy with objects. Human beings are not like that. And God is much more difficult to handle!

เคนं เคจเคฎो เคฎเคน्เคฏं । This is very tricky. You can rebel against someone outside you (somebody else) but how can you rebel against your self? The surrender comes from the depth of your Self. Then one finds there is nothing other than me, all is mine. And there is nothing that is mine! There is nothing I can claim to be min, or everything is mine. 'Me' and 'mine' - 'mine' takes you greedy and possessive, while 'me' makes you stiff and arrogant. The whole world revolves around these two words: 'me' and 'mine'. What about me - the ego; mine - the desire. In the state of surrender, both dissolve. Where am I? I am hollow and empty. Whatever I see or perceive, all that I feel with my mind and can express by my words, are part of me.

Duality is the cause of sorrow. The two is the cause of sorrow, not one. 'I am devoted to...' This 'to' implies that I am separate from that to which I am devoted. Knowledge is one step higher. When even devotion fulfils its goal, knowledge dawns and reveals that the knower, the knowledge and the known are one and united. เคธोเคฝเคนเคฎเคธ्เคฎि เคจिเคฐंเคเคจ । The small mind recognizes that I am the big mind. And the voice from the big mind comes saying I am small mind too. When these two parts of you recognize each other within you, sorrow disappears and dissolves. The small mind unites with the big mind. The big mind unites with the small mind. In fact, 'unites' is a wrong word. We are already one. 'Uniting' is just an expression. There is no uniting; there is only one. So เคธोเคฝเคนเคฎเคธ्เคฎि เคจिเคฐंเคเคจ

Being devoted is not sufficient. But knowing you are an indivisible, inseparable part of them is knowledge. Abheda bhava.
