One day, Lord Krishna was having his lunch. Satyabhama, His wife, was serving with great pride and pleasure in serving him because The Lord rarely got the opportunity to have His meals at home. His Devotees constantly offered Prasad with Pure Heart, which The Lord could never refuse. Pure Heart filled with Love always pulled The Lord towards The Devotee.
So, Satyabhama did not want to miss the opportunity. She had prepared a lavish meal and was serving with great pleasure and joy.
But in the middle of his meal, Krishna suddenly got up and without even washing his hands, started running towards the door. Satyabhama was aghast. She said, “Please finish the meal and go.” He said, “No, I need to go,” and ran towards the gate.
But then The Lord turned back and came and sat down to continue His meal. Satyabhama asked, “Why did you run like this and then turn back?”
The Lord said, “A devotee of mine was sitting in the forest and his very life breath had become “Krishna, Krishna, Krishna.” I saw a hungry tiger approaching him. Since he was in deep meditation, I wanted to help him out. I went till the gate, but then the devotee hearing the tiger's roar opened his eyes and picked up a stone. With stone in his hand, he forgot The Naama. I turned back, Since he decided to handle the situation himself. There was no role left for me.”
The Master's say, "The Lord is always there to help those who surrender themselves to The Lord. The only way to Surrender is Naama Bhakti. Having The Lord's Naama on our tongue all the time both while in Simran, through The Word given by The Master and Antar Simran or Ajapaa, The True Lord's Naama.
As our Mind is filled with The Lord's Naama, it starts living oblivious to the happenings in the outer world. We Live in The company of The Master and The Lord. All that we do is Live in The Remembrance of The Lord.
Here, the mind relishes being in the higher state of consciousness, in The Company of The Master and The Lord, that it does not want to go down, once again. All our needs and desires are fulfilled at the WISH state, as and when we desire. The Lord fulfills each and every desire, as it emanates.
The Saints say, "All the desires of the devotee, emanating from The Mind immersed in The Lord's Naama Bhakti, Shall be fulfilled by The Lord."
The Master's say, "Do Less. Accomplish More. Living in Naama Bhakti, means less of physical activities. All our physical involvement is outward activity, a mind oriented activity. This will only further attach us to the worldly objects and deed.
Whereas Naama Bhakti will enable us to place the onus on the shoulder of The Master and The Lord. They do not interfere in our day-to-day activities till we believe and live as the doers."
The Saints say, "Since we have not seen The Lord, Let us Surrender to The Master, who has Showed The PATH of Naama, with His Spiritual Energy. The Master will then automatically lead you to The Lord.
The Master is waiting for us to surrender ourselves and handover the pains and pleasures of the world to Him, and Live in Eternal Bliss. It is We who need to take the first step and start doing Simran and Dhyaan, now. Only The Dhyaan of The Master can elevate our Mind towards Naama Bhakti. Antar Simran and Antar Dhyaan of Naama will facilitate total Surrender."
It is not an easy task, but our Faith in The Master and His Naama will help us to change our habits and practices. Let us dedicate ourselves to Naama Bhakti, and by The Master's Grace, we will one day Realise, we are not the Doers. Only The Lord is the Doer. It is The Lord's Will that prevails, anything other than that will keep us in the cycle of 84 lakh.
