One day a Disciple went to The Master and said, "Master, I have made up my mind to resign from my job and remain constantly with The Master."
The Master says, "The Master is always with you, in you, and you are yourself The Master. To realize the fact that you are always with The Master, you do not have to either resign from your job or run away from home.
Renunciation does not imply apparent divesting of costumes, family ties, home, etc., but renunciation of desires, affection and attachment. There is no need to resign from your job, rather you should resign yourself to The Lord. The Lord has given us the right to live burden free. He is ready to bear the burden of all, who desire to do away with their burdens. For them, The Lord show's The Master's path.
Once with The Master, The Master shows us the right path to live in this world, Free of Maaya. He gives us The Naama, Simran of which shall ensure we slowly and steadily eradicate the worldly thoughts and attachments. It is only when we are Free of The Worldly desires, that we can Realise The Master near us.
By transfixing our focus on The Naama, Our Dhyaan is on The Master's Form. We imbibe the virtuous qualities of The Master. We start to become like The Master. Finally, We are non but The Master, it is The Naama Bhakti which elevates our consciousness to the level of Supreme Consciousness, The Lord's abode.
One who renounces desires actually merges in the world and expands his love to the whole universe. Expansion of love and affection would be a far better term for a true devotee of The Lord than renunciation, for one who renounces the immediate ties actually extends the bonds of affection and love to a wider world beyond the borders of caste, creed and race.
A Saint, who apparently casts away his clothes and leaves his home does not do so out of aversion to his immediate relations but because of the expansion of his love to others around him. When this expansion comes, one does not feel that one is running away from home, instead one drops from it like a ripe fruit from a tree. Till then it would be folly to leave one's home or job.
Thus, it important for us to understand that the problems around us, are the creation of the mind and our sense organs. The Solution is Naama Bhakti. Until and unless, we do not immerse ourselves in The Naama Bhakti, we can not set ourselves free from the worldly pleasures and pains.
Once our Naama Bhakti fruitions, we will Realise that our Parents, wife/husband, relatives, and all other beings not just human beings, but all others too are The Lord Form. We are filled with Love towards all.
The Naama creates an invisible boundary around, which ensures that we do not falter and fall a prey to Maaya. It is The Naama which enables us to Live in The Master's Company. All that we need to do is just immerse ourselves in The Naama through Simran and Dhyaan.
We do not need to renounce our family or the job. All we need to do is create balance in our life and dedicate time for The Naama Bhakti."
The Master has given us The Naama. It is we who need to understand that The Master has already reached us. We need to Realise His presence. It is not possible for our eyes and other sense organs to recognise The Master. It is through The Inner Eye, which opens up as a result of our Naama Bhakti, that we Realise The Master and The Lord.
For all us who want to Live in The Master's Company and unite with The Lord, Naama Bhakti is The path. Let us start doing Naama Bhakti and wait for The Master's Grace.
