*Day 43*
The most gross is the material world. The subtlest world we saw is the divine world, the world of the devas and devis. I want to show you a phenomenon that happened on, was it the 15 th January?
This sort of phenomenon keeps happening but this one was taken in a photograph. A Cobra climbed a particular tree, the Bilva tree and plucked a Bilva leaf. Then it went into the temple and offered it on top of the Shiva Linga.
You can see this thing happening in the photo. And it did it four or five times. The people were amazed because they have only heard in the scriptures that an elephant offered flowers to a Shiva Linga or a serpent offered from a Bilva tree.
But a Cobra, nobody can train a Cobra, it is impossible. They don't even have ears to listen to your commands. But the Cobra climbed the particular tree and then it goes into the temple with the leaf in its mouth and scares everybody away. Do you see that?
How it goes and offers the Bilva leaf on the Shiva Linga. Priests have all done the puja and the performance and it drops the leaf on the Linga, opens its hood and moves away. The first time they didn't understand, but it kept on doing it again and again.
Then somebody with a cell phone took these pictures and posted them. So nature is aligned with effort. The Cobra is associated with Shiva energy. The peacock is associated with Karthik energy.
Mother divine energy dawns on tigers and Lions. So each of these animals brings down this unseen vibration of consciousness into the manifest universe.
So they are the vehicles. Vehicles does not mean they are riding on them. These animals are a vehicle for bringing down the un manifest energy to the manifest world, like a musician is a vehicle to manifest harmonious musical sound into the manifest world.
The inner music gets manifested. So every human body is a vehicle for exhibiting knowledge. Every human being is a vehicle. The scientists are a vehicle for expressing technology and science.
Like that, animals are vehicles bringing down these vibrations from the cosmos, enhancing a particular vibration in the cosmos. There are places in India where there an elephant used to go and put flowers on the Linga or on a particular temple and there is another place where ants used to go and circumbalate the stone.
In Tamil Nadu there is Sriperumbudur, where they found ants came and worshipped a Shiva Linga. Worship means they were honouring it, they were attracted, they would come and go around it and would go.
So, this universe is diverse, yet United, or it is made up of only one thing, and that is Brahman, the one in many and the many in one.
