The whole range of creation is accounted for from the Infinite Consciousness (Brhama), the vast infinite intelligence to the inertia of a stone; from a rock that does not exhibit any consciousness to the ever-changing, ever-lively consciousness - the basis of all life in this entire universe. Just sit and think how many types of lives there are. Harmful bacteria and useful bacteria, mosquitoes, houseflies, centipedes, butterfly, cockroaches, spiders, tadpoles, frogs, fish - so many, you can't even name them! One has to study for several years to know how many! Volumes have been written and these are all that is known. There are many more which are unknown. How many types of lives or living beings? Sometimes you keep rice or cream or wheat in a box or bottle tightly closed. When you open it after some months there will be worms inside! The containers are tightly closed. There is no chance of a worm to get inside and breed. So, how are they inside? That's a deeper secret of the mechanics of creation - how from nothingness, things come out. There are four types of birth on this planet. One type of birth is, that we all know, coming out of mother's womb. All the mammals and human beings are born from the womb. Then those who are born out of eggs - chicken, snakes, etc. Third type of life is the birth from the seed - all the plants sprout from the seed. And the fourth type is birth from the space.
