Thanks to @Rathi -- Aol Devotee
Q. How do we take it when moving away from relationships with ego?
Firstly thinking they have ego is wrong. Only one ego can see another ego. Don't worry about how they behave, be detached. Humor wins over all this. Happy people don't have ego, only weak people show ego. Be compassionate towards them, don't get angry.
Q. There are so many mahans (great people) in this country. Can we listen to every one?
How can we show hatred when you say they are mahans. Respect everyone but take a path and stick to the path else it causes confusion.
Q. There is so much disturbance and problems in families, how can we get over?
Like how there are waves in a ocean, how can we expect a life without problems. What you need is the strength to handle problems. Aren't your problems getting solved? Problems come and go, don't fear or worry. A step in this spiritual path, is already helping you come out of problems, isn't it? Like clouds in the sky, problems in life will vanish.
Q. Gurudev even if we have an intention to grow in the spiritual path, does this happen only based on our karma?
Its not like that, everything is karma but there are some karmas that we can come out of, resolve. If you cannot do anything about karma then why do we have all this, meditation etc.? You can increase or decrease your weight but can you change your height? Even if you wear high heels, your actual height doesn't change. When you prepare sakkarai pongal (sweet kichadi) you can add more ghee or jaggery but cannot change the boiled rice. Likewise in life we can change certain things and should accept certain things.
Q. In our village people take kavadi (burden dance) and feel the presence of God. What's the actual significance?
Its right, people feel energy or shakti when taking kavadi. For some it gets displayed as high energy for some its internal happiness and bliss. God is omnipresent, its the experience that differs.
