Once there was a man, who was very Learned Man, a Gyaani. On the basis of his enriched knowledge, he was able to find the path through which one can Realise The Soul. He found The Word to be given at the time of Initiation from Vedas and Scriptures. He started initiating people, by calling them to take it for guaranteed Salvation.
One day, he met The Master and started exhibiting his knowledge prowess. The Master silently was looking at the restless, hyperactive man, as he kept talking about the texts and scriptures. The man asked don't you have any knowledge to share.
The Master compassionately looked at the man and said: "My child, add a little more to your strength. You will need to do more Meditation. You have hardly set your foot on the tree, yet you expect to lay hold of a big cluster of fruit.
Though, I understand that you are doing all this for the welfare of others. You need to practice little more."
With these words The Master bowed His head before the man.
The Master continued, "For a Gyaani, it is very important that he has Vivek in him, the power to discriminate between the Real and the unreal. Only when we realise The True Self, can we renounce the world.
There is no harm in teaching others if a man has a commission from the Lord. Nobody can confound The Master, who initiates people after having received the command of The Lord. By Getting the ray of light from The Lord, a man becomes Enlightened, empowered by The Lord to empower others with The Light. Only he who The Lord commission's becomes The True Master.
When the lamp is lighted the moths come in swarms. They don't have to be invited. In the same way, The Master who has a commission from The Lord does not need to invite people to hear him. He possesses such irresistible attraction that people come to seek The greatest Knowledge from him of their own accord.
People of all classes, even kings and aristocrats, gather around him.
"Does the magnet say to the iron, 'Come near me?' That is not necessary. Because of the attraction of the magnet, the iron rushes to it.
The Master, who has a commission from The Lord is natural and full of wisdom. That wisdom comes from The Lord; it is inexhaustible like an Ocean.
Therefore, please tell me, have you received any commission from The Lord."
The man replied, "Commission? No, sir, I am afraid I haven't received any such thing."
The Master said, "It is important that we get initiated into Meditation by The Master. After Initiation, we need to do Simran and Dhyaan with The Word given by The Master. The Master's Word is filled with His Spiritual energy, that is The True Naama. Hence, The Master's Word has the power to connect us with The Naama.
All who are blessed by The Lord, and connect with The Naama through The Master's Word are celebrated as Saints. It is only a few from those who have Realised The Lord inside them, are commissioned by The Lord, to be The Master, to Enlighten others.
It is The Meditation technique of such Master which unites us with The Lord and takes us back to the True Home."
The man immediately sought The Master to initiate him in The Spiritual path.
The Master is The Lord's True form in Human life. He has come in human form because that is how we human can recognise. The Master has come to take The Chosen Souls back to The Lord. It is only The Chosen Souls who are bestowed with The Master's company. The Master attracts the Chosen Souls through His Spiritual energy towards Him.
We are lucky to have The Company of The Master. The Master has blessed us with Initiation and given us The Naama. It is now our responsibility to dedicate ourselves to the Simran and Dhyaan of The Naama. By The Master's Grace, we shall one day attain Salvation and reach The Lord's abode. So, let us do Naama Bhakti, as much as possible, because this is true Guru Bhakti, and the only Bhakti which is preferred by The Lord. Naama, Naama, Naama
