GENERAL APPEARANCE – SYSTEMIC SYMPTOMS –
-भवत्यतिकृशो – remains weak from the beginning means from the birth
-विवर्णः – discoloration of the body from normal colors
-क्षामो – KSHAAMA means weak or less functions (DALAHANA SUSHRUTA UTTARA STHAANA 52/8)
-दीनः – lustureless look
-सुदुर्बलः, - weakness of the body
-शूनपाणिपादवदनाक्षिकूटः, - with swellings on the hands, feet and face
-सज्वरः, - with fevers
APPEARANCE OF THE ARSHA -
-श्वेतपाण्डुहरितपीतरक्तारुणतनुसान्द्रपिच्छिलकुणपगन्ध्यामपुरीषोपवेशी, - with different colors like white, pale, greenish, yellowish, reddish, brownish, may be small and thin, sometimes clear sometimes greasy, with smells like that of the dead body or stools or undigested foods
LOCATION OF THE ARSHA –
-अन्तराऽन्तरा – they are sometimes inside not always
ANNAVAHA SROTAS, PUREESHAVAHA SROTAS, KOSHTHA –
-प्रचुरविबद्धवातमूत्रपुरीषः – when there is increased belching due to obstructed wind, stools or urine
-प्रचुरविबद्धतिक्ताम्लोद्गारः, - with increased sour and bitter eructation with feeling like obstruction
-ऽनियतविबद्धमुक्तपक्वामशुष्कभिन्नवर्चा – irregular evacuation of stools sometimes easy sometimes obstructed and not well formed
-नाभिबस्तिवङ्क्षणोद्देशे प्रचुरपरिकर्तिकान्वितः, - sometimes with cutting pain in the naval area, in bladder area, in groin area
-सगुदशूलप्रवाहिकापरिहर्षप्रमेहप्रसक्तविष्टम्भान्त्रकूजोदावर्तहृदयेन्द्रियोपलेपः – can be with pain in the anus, dysentery, numbness feelings, increased urination, heaviness in abdomen, GUR GUR feeling in the abdomen, eructation, feeling of heaviness in the cardiac are as well in the sense organs
-सुदुर्बलाग्निः, - decreased digestive power
-तृष्णाहृल्लासच्छर्द्यरोचकाविपाकपीनसक्षवथुपरीतः, - with complications like thirst, nausea, vomiting, loss of taste, indigestion, cold, sneezing
-अन्तराऽन्तरा पार्श्वकुक्षिबस्तिहृदयपृष्ठत्रिकग्रहोपतप्तः, - although sometimes it is present inside but manifest difficulties in sides of abdomen, sides of thorax, cardiac area, back and pelvic area
PRANAVAHA SROTAS –
कासश्वासतमक – cough, breathlessness
MUTRAVAHA SROTAS –
-शर्कराश्मरीमान्, - may present with complications like sand, gravel or stones
SHUKRAVAHA SROTAS –
-अल्पशुक्रः, - with decreased sexual capabilities
VAATAVAHA MANOVAHA SROTAS –
-तैमिरिकः, - feeling like TIMIRA
-शिरःशूली, - with headaches
-क्षामभिन्नसन्नसक्तजर्जरस्वरः, - difficulty in speaking and very weak sounds or words if produced
-कर्णरोगी, - with diseases of the ear
-साङ्गमर्दः, - with pains in the body
-सर्वपर्वास्थिशूली – with pain in all the joints of the body
-क्रोधनो, - with irritant nature
-प्रध्यानपरः, - the patient gives too much attention to things other than himself
-परमालसश्चेति; - he is too lazy
-जन्मप्रभृत्यस्य गुदजैरावृतो मार्गोपरोधाद्वायुरपानः प्रत्यारोहन् समानव्यानप्राणोदानान् पित्तश्लेष्माणौ – because there is obstruction in the anal canal from the birth, there is DUSHTI of APAANA VAATA which further causes DUSHTI of SAMAANA, UDAANA, PRAANA, PITTA and KAPHA
